A spiritual journey is about surrender. This includes naming and acknowledging the TRUTH of our feelings and learning to be with them in kind and compassionate ways.
Choose something in your daily life, maybe it's a tough emotion that surfaces frequently, an on-going physical challenge, or a relationship that needs improving.
Write it down.
Instead of trying to fix it, consider just being with it.
Feel where it expresses in your body. Let it have its say. Do this for as long as you can tolerate. Try to do it as often as you can throughout your day and in the days ahead.
In order to reach a level of surrender, we must learn to be with what is, no matter how uncomfortable.
Sometimes the solutions and peace we yearn for elude us until we pause and settle into truth.
Pause and settle first.
The truth will follow.
