Out Loud Gratitude: Tell Others how you feel

In a span of 48 hours, I managed to tell four cherished people in my life the things I often think, but rarely make a point of saying out loud.
The next day, my youngest, Keaton, had a track meet.
At the conclusion of the night I told him I was grateful he could be there and how much I enjoyed his company.
As for my husband, John, I made sure to tell him what an awesome Dad he is for attending every meet in the baking sun.
Then, if the person isn’t nearby or at the same location, make sure to share it with them in writing.
#857 (I’m So Glad)

“I am writing for all the mommies out there who are feeling a little lost today, okay a lot lost today…Let’s not stop the dreaming.
If we can connect to the part of ourselves that is the most vibrant and has the most light to shine, not only will we reap the rewards, our children will catch some of that light and shine on.
Don’t give up who you were before children.
Make the most of who you arewithchildren.
Find some balance, find some sanity and ask for help.”The first ever WFAM post 8/12/2009
